Senior Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Supply Chain to join their team in Mississauga, Ontario . This critical role involves optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance. You will lead initiatives, analyze complex logistics networks, and implement innovative solutions to address challenges within a fast-paced operational environment. This is a significant opportunity for a seasoned engineer to drive strategic improvements within a key functional area.

Key Responsibilities Analyze and optimize the entire supply chain , including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and logistics. Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs, improve lead times, and enhance service levels. Design and manage warehouse layouts, material flow, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency. Utilize data analytics and modeling tools to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and identify supply chain risks. Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline operations and resolve issues. Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies within the supply chain. Requirements Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain and industrial engineering . Proven expertise in supply chain optimization, logistics, and inventory management. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling software. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
