Location: Orlando, Florida
Salary: $45,000–$50,000 annually, plus uncapped commission
Schedule: Full-time, remote

About the Position

Coastal Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced, results-driven recruiter to identify and place qualified healthcare professionals with our medical clients.

This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate will already understand the recruiting process and be comfortable sourcing candidates, conducting thorough interviews, evaluating qualifications, managing multiple open positions, and maintaining consistent follow-up.

Experience recruiting within a staffing agency is strongly preferred. Healthcare recruiting experience is highly desirable.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the full recruiting process from initial sourcing through placement.
  • Recruit for clinical and administrative healthcare positions, including Medical Assistants, nurses, medical office professionals, billers, technologists, and other specialized roles.
  • Proactively source candidates through Indeed, resume databases, social media, referrals, professional networks, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct detailed telephone and virtual interviews.
  • Evaluate candidates’ credentials, employment history, skills, professionalism, availability, and overall suitability.
  • Present thoroughly screened, qualified candidates to clients.
  • Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and sales manager.
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Track all recruiting activity and candidate information accurately in the company’s Applicant Tracking System.
  • Meet established expectations for calls, interviews, candidate submissions, placements, and follow-up.
  • Protect confidential candidate and client information while following all applicable legal and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of professional recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing, interviewing, and qualifying candidates
  • Experience managing multiple open positions and candidate pipelines simultaneously
  • Strong telephone presence and professional written communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate resumes critically rather than simply forwarding applicants
  • Proven ability to work independently, remain productive, and meet goals in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency with job boards, Applicant Tracking Systems, email, Microsoft Office, and virtual communication platforms
  • Stable work history with demonstrated longevity in previous positions
  • Residence in the Orlando, Florida area

  • Healthcare recruiting experience
  • Staffing agency experience
  • Experience recruiting Medical Assistants, nurses, medical office professionals, billers, imaging professionals, or surgical personnel
  • Familiarity with healthcare credentials, certifications, and employment requirements
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven recruiting environment
