Unlock your potential at Willis Towers Watson.<br><br><strong>The Role<br><br></strong>As a Managing Director you will make a valuable difference every day to our high-profile clients and prospects by developing leading edge solutions to address their health and benefits and broader benefits issues. You will lead large, highly visible client engagements as well as develop and manage active pipelines, grow relationships with current and prospective clients, and demonstrate how our organization’s superior strategic resources and capabilities can address their concerns. You will serve as a key voice to the marketplace of one of the world’s leading HR consulting firms and have the ability to contribute to the evolution of health care delivery in North America.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to large, complex clients in the design and management of their health and benefits programs, </li><li>Primary accountability for creating and executing a business strategy to penetrate the local and regional market in obtaining completely new Health and Benefits clients of the company; retain and grow revenue with clients once on board</li><li>Meet or exceed revenue and market penetration goals</li><li>Serve as senior Health and Benefits strategist for clients, ensuring that health and welfare plan design meets clients’ needs and fits within overall benefits strategy</li><li>Raise awareness of WTW's capabilities in the marketplace through conference appearances and various other profile building venues</li><li>Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches</li><li>Build relationships internally with sales and marketing team and consultants within and outside H&B to effectively collaborate on sales opportunities</li><li>Help to identify and develop future talent<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>The Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>15+ years’ experience in the design/management of large group health and welfare plans gained in a consulting or brokerage environment</li><li>Track record of success in managing and growing large client relationships, together with proven ability to generate revenue</li><li>An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills</li><li>Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization</li><li>Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in health and welfare plan strategy and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches</li><li>Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Availability to travel regularly</li><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required</li><li>State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining<br><br></li></ul>Note: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity<br><br>This position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.<br><br><strong>Company Benefits<br><br></strong>WTW provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply):<br><br><ul><li>Health and Welfare Benefits: Medical (including prescription coverage), Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Commuter Account, Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Group Accident, Group Critical Illness, Life Insurance, AD&D, Group Legal, Identify Theft Protection, Wellbeing Program and Work/Life Resources (including Employee Assistance Program)</li><li>Leave Benefits: Paid Holidays, Annual Paid Time Off (includes state/local paid leave where required), Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Other Leaves (e.g., Bereavement, FMLA, ADA, Jury Duty, Military Leave, and Parental and Adoption Leave), Paid Time Off (only included for Washington roles)</li><li>Retirement Benefits: Qualified contributory pension plan (if eligible) and 401(k) plan with annual nonelective company contribution.
