Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive supervision and care for children in their home environment, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences, incorporating healthy cooking practices
  • Engage children in educational activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development through teaching and play
  • Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and diaper changes to maintain consistency and comfort
  • Perform light cleaning duties to keep the child's living space tidy, organized, and hygienic
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing personalized caregiving strategies and fostering inclusive activities
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about the child's progress, milestones, and any concerns that arise

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants and toddlers
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
  • Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking nutritious foods suitable for children
  • Ability to perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Demonstrated caregiving ability with patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement techniques
  • Knowledge of teaching methods that promote early childhood development and learning
  • Valid background check clearance and relevant certifications in childcare or caregiving are preferred
