About AI Training Work
AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors prepare labeled examples that help computer vision systems recognize objects in images, making this a practical way to work on cutting-edge technology remotely and part time.
- Remote opportunity available worldwide
- Flexible workload of less than 20 hours per week
- Work supports the development of a YOLO object detection model
The Role
As a Video Game Character Labeler, you will review a list of images containing approximately one to five objects per image. The objects are video game characters identified by a purple outline, and your task is to draw a bounding box around each one for inclusion in a YOLO training dataset.
This is an intermediate-level contractor role for someone with experience labeling images for object detection. Labeling is completed in Roboflow, and payment is provided per completed label.
- Data type: Images
- Label types: Bounding boxes and object detection
- Software: Roboflow
- Pay: $0.02 per label
- Engagement: Part-time contractor
What You’ll Do
You will inspect each provided image, identify the video game characters with purple outlines, and create accurate bounding boxes around them. Your annotations should be prepared for use in a YOLO object detection dataset.
- Review images containing approximately one to five objects
- Locate characters marked with a purple outline
- Draw a bounding box around each relevant character
- Create labels in Roboflow
- Prepare object detection annotations for YOLO model training
Requirements
This project requires prior experience labeling images for object detection datasets used with a YOLO model. Careful visual review and consistent bounding-box placement are important to producing useful training data.
- Intermediate experience level
- Experience labeling images for object detection
- Experience working with YOLO datasets or models
- Ability to use Roboflow for image annotation
- English language proficiency
Schedule and Work Arrangement
This is a worldwide, remote contractor opportunity with a part-time workload of less than 20 hours per week. The role is paid per label rather than by the hour, at a rate of $0.02 USD per label.
- Worldwide eligibility
- Remote work
- Less than 20 hours per week
- Part-time contract position
- Payment type: Per label
