Job description:<br><br><p>The Senior Data Exchange Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting healthcare data exchange solutions that connect customer's systems with External Provider Networks (EPNs). The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on backend development experience in Node.js, NestJS, Java, Spring Boot & Spring Batch, combined with a solid understanding of integration architectures and healthcare interoperability standards.</p><p> </p><p>This role requires experience developing and supporting APIs, microservices, and data integration solutions, along with expertise in healthcare interoperability and data exchange. Candidates should be comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p> </p><p>· Design, develop, and support scalable APIs, microservices, and integration services.</p><p> </p><ul> <li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to EPN technical teams throughout the onboarding and implementation lifecycle.</li> <li>Partner directly with EPN organizations to review requirements, define integration approaches, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful end-to-end implementation and adoption of Data Exchange capabilities.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with architects, Epic teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions.</li> <li>Support implementation planning, testing, deployment readiness activities, production cutovers, and post-go-live stabilization.</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p> </p><p>· Experience with Epic interoperability solutions, Care Everywhere, FHIR, HL7, CCD/CCDA, and healthcare integration workflows.</p><p> </p><ul> <li>Prior healthcare experience and familiarity with HC systems, operational processes, and interoperability initiatives is highly desirable.</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> </ul><p> </p><p> </p> <br><br>We offer:<br><br><p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Pay Range Minimum: $82,000 per year </strong></p><p><strong>Pay Range Maximum: $138,000 per year</strong></p><p> </p><p>HCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
