Program Manager, Access Control & Intercoms

About the position

Axis' Business Development, Solutions & Services team is seeking a Program Manager, Access Control & Intercoms to join our growing team in the Americas. In this role, you’ll be part of a team focused on driving awareness and demand for Axis access control & intercoms, along with the complete 2N solutions portfolio to support our growth objectives. You will develop strategic business plans and manage programs to ensure sales success and to drive additional value to our door solutions offering. This role is based out of our Americas HQ in Chelmsford, MA and is an in-office position with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the team, build concise, focused strategies, plans, and goals for each of Axis’ key target groups, aligned with the company’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Execute plans in accordance with team strategic objectives, KPIs and program goals
  • Develop, maintain and grow customer & partner relationships to support sales, drive opportunities, and provide feedback to increase the value of our door solutions offering
  • Work with cross-functional teams to reduce & remove perceived hurdles for developing business
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to solicit, compile & prioritize market feedback for product development based on customer needs
  • Provide relevant and timely education and messaging to the industry via association involvement, tradeshow participation & thought leadership
  • Serve as internal resource and subject matter expert by supporting sales & marketing initiatives, educational services, demos, competitive intelligence, and localized strategic plans & goals
  • Provide monthly reporting on strategic initiatives, progress, and opportunities to management
  • Identify new markets and innovative solutions to drive additional sales opportunities

Requirements

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelors’ Degree preferred
  • 5+ years in either sales, business development, marketing, account or project management ideally in the physical security market
  • Experience working with developing business and deep knowledge of channel sales and channel programs for IT solutions
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM tools
  • Expert knowledge of the physical security market; preferred knowledge of products and future trends in intercoms, visitor management & access control
