We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.<br><br><strong>Job Title:</strong> Golang / HashiCorp Vault Engineer<br><br><strong>Location(s):</strong> Chicago, IL<br><br><em>(Remote)<br><br></em><strong>Role Summary<br><br></strong>Seeking a hands-on engineer to work with the existing SCV and Vault squad. The role will support the existing proprietary key/value credential system and migrate SCV capabilities to HashiCorp Vault.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance applications and services used by the credential platform. </li><li>Build HashiCorp Vault capabilities that replace features currently supported by SCV. </li><li>Develop new integrations and plugins and onboard tools into the Brokerage ecosystem. </li><li>Support non-human credential storage in a manner compliant with relevant IAM policy. </li><li>Perform development, engineering, operational, automation, and DevOps tasks. </li><li>Follow architectural standards, product guidelines, and usability design standards. </li><li>Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of hands-on Golang experience. </li><li>Strong object-oriented programming concepts and ability to design robust, scalable software solutions. </li><li>Strong hands-on HashiCorp Vault experience, including authentication backends, secret engines, and plugin development. </li><li>Experience working with at least one public cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP. </li><li>Ability to support production applications and troubleshoot technical issues. </li><li>Understanding of IAM policy, least-privilege access, and secure credential handling. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience migrating features from a legacy secrets or credential platform to HashiCorp Vault. </li><li>Experience in financial services or another regulated enterprise environment. </li><li>Experience with incident and vulnerability management processes. <br><br></li></ul>Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
