Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Counter Help to join our team on Saturdays from 11 am to 8 pm. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with their orders, handling transactions, and ensuring they have a positive experience. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections or inquiries.
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and making change.
  • Prepare basic food items as needed, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including sanitation and food safety practices.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Food industry or serving experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
