Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy. Your day will involve Answering and Managing Calls Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls from providers, members, and health plans. Make outbound calls as needed to follow up on unresolved issues. Information Retrieval Use brighthush’s proprietary systems to look up caller information, verify benefits, and provide accurate, up‑to‑date answers. Issue Resolution Identify the nature of each call, document details in the system, and forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department. Resource Utilization Leverage internal knowledge bases, online resources, and cross‑functional teams to deliver timely, accurate responses. Time Management Maintain call answer times within the required service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure follow‑up actions are completed promptly. Team Collaboration Attend weekly staff meetings, share insights, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance & Security Follow all legal, regulatory, and company policies to protect caller data and maintain a secure work environment. Training & Development Complete all required brighthush and Customer Service Center (CSC) trainings on schedule. Additional Duties Perform other tasks as assigned, such as data entry, quality audits, or process improvement projects. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED certificate. Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in an inbound call center environment. Basic computer literacy—comfortable navigating multiple systems during a single interaction. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Proficiency in using a headset, computer keyboard, and mouse in a home‑office setting. Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps down/10 Mbps up; 100 Mbps down/20 Mbps up recommended).
