YouTube Video Editor (& Light Admin Work)

We have a working YouTube channel (link below).

We are looking for a long-term partner to help us grow it.

THIS JOB WILL START WITH A 2-3 DAY PAID TEST PROJECT. On the test project, we'll give you some content & guides, let you do what you do, and make our final decision. When we send the project details you can tell us what your rate for that is.

The process we have is:

1. I send a raw file in Basecamp, where we manage our content process.

2. Video editor take raw file and:

a) Edits retakes in the tools of their choice, smooths it out, adds LIGHT animation and graphics (NO b-roll, simple light edits to improve clarity of message).

b) Sends video edits back to content manager to review.

c) Waits for thumbnail to come in from thumbnail designer in Basecamp.

d) Takes final approved video and thumbnail and schedules it in YouTube Studio.

e) Takes audio, adds intro music, schedules it on Captivat.fm for the podcast.

f) Updates Basecamp status when published.

g) Creates 3 shorts from each long and submits for approval.

h) When approval from content manager comes through, schedules in YouTube Studio and on Metricool for Instagram cross post.

We are looking for a new video editor who can keep up with new capacity demands.

We plan on doing 2-3 long forms a week (3-10 min videos). And who can turn around videos in 72 hours or less, no exceptions.

We need someone who:

- Understands YouTube trends. We don't want old school videos, generic animation, stock b-roll, etc.

- Has attention to detail. I mean, for real. Actual attention to detail.

- Is reliable. We can't have 3 days sometimes, and other times rushing shoddy work through in 3 hours to catch up.

- Can use our systems, while introducing new improvements along the way. We're open to improvements, but we need reliable use of Basecamp to track things.

- Can adhere to our marketing and branding style. We can drift into generic branding and stuff to make production faster.

- Won't use AI and pass it off as real human work. We are deep in AI. We know it can edit videos. I can edit a video automatically with API calls and a system my team is capable of building. We want HUMAN involvement. We support efficiency, but if it's AI work, we can do it ourselves.

- Someone who can give us advice. I've been creating content for a long time, and the channel still doesn't perform. We've had a few audience pivots, but even accounting for that, the performance is no bueno. Ideal if you are a student of the game and can help us get actual RESULTS, but we won't make you solely responsible for it.

- B2B content. This is not a consumer, B2C, just go for reach and audience play. We are producing content to drive legit brand and demand growth. We want results, not popularity. If you have no B2B experience, probably not a good fit.

If you work differently than what we need, please just LET ME KNOW NOW. We can change parts of our system, but we need to know up front what we're adjusting for and what we'll need to make it work.

If you can also handle other elements of the process, like thumbnails, also advise.

We are about to do a full blitz on B2B content and looking for the right partner to run this part of the system. Goal is 2-3 long forms a week, 3 shorts from each long.

IMPORTANT: Please tell me how you will bill for this. If that's not in the proposal, I won't reply. Please simply tell me your rates, how you bill, or a range of billing to give me SOME idea if we are aligned.
