Workday Payroll Architect – AMS, Post Production Support
Job Description:
- Lead strategic, high-impact Workday Payroll initiatives, including post-production optimizations, Phase X rollouts, and multi-country enhancements
- Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot complex payroll solutions
- Optimize integrations and touchpoints among Payroll, HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Finance
- Conduct high-level working sessions with executives and client leaders
- Translate business objectives into scalable Workday architecture
- Advise global client leaders on Workday industry best practices
- Mentor consultants and contribute knowledge to the repository
- Help continuously innovate Workday service delivery
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Workday experience
- Proven track record leading Workday Payroll implementations or complex AMS engagements as a lead consultant or architect
- Complete command over US statutory requirements, tax rules, retro logic, complex earnings/deductions, FLSA calculation rules, and EIB data conversions
- Hands-on experience or deep technical familiarity with Workday Payroll SKUs for Canada, UK, France, Ireland, or Australia
- Strong proficiency in Workday HCM, Security, Advanced Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Data Analysis touchpoints
- Advanced Excel skills, including manipulating, auditing, and reconciling massive datasets
- Exceptional communication, attention to detail, ability to anticipate issues, and passion for customer success
- Must have work authorization in the country of application without current or future visa sponsorship from Kognitiv
