Position Type: Full-time | Permanent

Schedule:

(Days) 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday through Friday)
overtime, statutory holidays, and weekends may be required

Location: C7 Warehouse - 4660 68 Ave SE, Calgary, AB

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load orders using material handling equipment including ride-on power jack, forklift, reach truck.
  • Build pallets and loads correctly.
  • Verify incoming quantities against receiving documentation, report any variances in detail.
  • Place products in designated locations in warehouse; or for change of storage locations within the warehouse, complete bin location tracking documents.
  • Organize product storage areas for efficient storage, take direction and make recommendations for space capacity improvements with Sr. Operations Supervisor.
  • Read and understand P/S and/or B/L received from CSR or Sr. Operations Supervisor.
  • Pick orders as per instructions on P/S and/or B/L and achieve picking and packing productivity levels, with a goal of 100% accuracy.
  • Verify picked quantities/items for accuracy, report variances to Sr. Operations Supervisor
  • Report all errors, missing or damaged product, any racking and equipment deficiencies and all safety incidents and safety hazards to Sr. Operations Supervisor immediately.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience with material handling equipment including; electric ride-on power jack, forklifts, reach trucks. Preference is given to candidates with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience operating an RF Scanner is an asset.
  • Class 5 Driver License with a clean driver abstract.
  • High attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner.

Requirements:

  • It is preferred that the candidate can provide their own method of transportation to and from the facility daily.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment. Candidates will be required to have their own CSA approved steel-toed safety footwear.
  • Physically able to perform all job functions of the position. The candidate must be able to frequently look over shoulders, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods at a time.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively.

Working Conditions:

  • The work setting is a warehouse environment and may require use of computers and other office equipment and machines.
  • The candidate must be able to work outside as required and may be exposed to snow, rain, heat, dust, wind, noise, and uneven terrain.
  • The candidate must be flexible in working variable hours or overtime as expected when required.
  • Inside conditions may include dust and noise. Limited travel may be required.
