Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Operations Lead to join their dedicated team in Halifax . In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse. You will guide and support warehouse associates, oversee critical functions such as receiving, storage, and dispatch, and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics setting and is committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing direction and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Oversee the receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes to maintain optimal workflow. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness. Monitor inventory levels and participate in cycle counting activities to maintain high levels of accuracy. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with management to address operational challenges and ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role is required. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard office software. Commitment to upholding high standards of safety and operational efficiency in Halifax .
