Warehouse General Attendant

The main objective of the Warehouse attendant is to ensure the proper reception, selection, and palletization of products in the warehouse, ensuring that they are in good physical condition and freshness, and that they are delivered efficiently and safely on time. Duties & Responsibilities: Receive and review batch/order information through a warehouse management system or manual consolidation picking document. Identify and locate products in appropriate warehouse zones based on order information. Pick products with precision and efficiency assessing the appropriate expiration date. Physically verify that products are in good condition including meeting established freshness standards. Report any damaged or non-conforming products to the picking coordinator. Arrange products on pallets according to the established configuration. Ensure that products are securely placed and comply with palletization procedures. Transport pallets with selected products to the designated area for further processing or shipping. Notify the picking coordinator when the selection and palletization of a load are completed. Wait for the picking coordinator to review and validate the order to ensure it is complete and in order. Obtain authorization from the picking or dispatch coordinator before moving the load to the assigned staging area or cage. In the event that products are not available, notify the picking coordinator so that the forklift operator can retrieve stored products from a rack. Operate and use equipment, such as pallet jacks and stretch wrappers, safely and in accordance with established warehouse safety standards. Coordinate your staff to maintain order and cleanliness in your work area. Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of 1 years’ experience in materials / warehouse position
