Warehouse Associate - Picker/Packer Full-Time (Heavy Lifting)

Responsibilities

  • Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using order lists/invoices.
  • Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
  • Verify item numbers, quantities, and products before completing orders.
  • Pack and prepare orders carefully for customer pickup or shipping.
  • Label and organize completed orders in designated areas.
  • Ensure orders are complete and properly prepared before they leave the warehouse.
  • Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect merchandise.
  • Move, sort, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Assist with receiving, loading, and unloading merchandise when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow established picking, packing, inventory, and safety procedures.
  • Work independently to complete assigned orders within expected timelines.
  • Work cooperatively with other warehouse team members and supervisors.
  • Perform other warehouse-related duties as required based on operational needs.

Duties

  • Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods with heavy lifting techniques
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through shipping & receiving processes
  • Assist with construction or warehouse setup tasks as needed to optimize space and workflow
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, order picking, packing, fulfillment, or similar experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly bend, reach, lift, carry, and move merchandise.
  • Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic English communication and reading skills are required.
