Virtual Teacher of Record (MN Certified)

<ul><li><strong>Daily Rate:</strong> $150/daily; rates are negotiable and subject to change</li><li><strong>Fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity.</strong></li><li><strong>Schedule: </strong>4 hours per day. The educator will schedule sessions based on student weekday availability</li><li>Valid Minnesota teaching license in Elementary Education (additional Students with Disabilities and/or Middle school preferred). </li><li><strong>Must be authorized to work in the United States.<br></strong></li></ul><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>This Mentor Teacher role serves as the Teacher of Record (TOR) and primary educational partner for Fullmind's Homeschool Extension families. The goal of this engagement is for the Mentor Teacher to truly get to know each student and family, advise and support them throughout their educational journey, and help families make informed choices about curriculum, resources, and instruction that best meet their student's needs. As TOR, the Mentor Teacher is also the accountable signatory on each student's academic and compliance records.</p><p>Fullmind partners with hundreds of U.S. schools to ensure every child has access to education, filling teacher vacancies by live-streaming certified educators directly to students. As a Fullmind educator, you'll deliver virtual instruction and guide students to course completion. Learn more here.<br></p><p>As a Fullmind Teacher of Record, you will:</p><ul><li>Serve as the family's academic point of contact</li><li>Coordinate with Fullmind ops/enrollment, the academic lead on standards, the district registrar on records, and the district SPED case manager when applicable</li><li>Act as the accountable signatory on academic and compliance records</li><li>Review the weekly student reflection/engagement logs to produce and grading attendance records </li><li>Ensure attendance and grading records are complete, accurate, and reporting-ready weekly</li><li>Verify each student's schedule/curriculum maps to current MN standards</li><li>Oversee progress against grade-level benchmarks</li><li>Respond to academic/instructional questions</li><li>Coordinate with the district-assigned case manager so platform accommodations and services are reflected</li><li>Administer online assessments when applicable <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><ul><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States</li><li>Valid Minnesota teaching license</li><li>Familiarity with MN standards and assessment/compliance expectations</li><li>Comfort SIS coordination and documentation workflows</li><li>Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university</li><li>Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access</li><li>Participate in a virtual skills demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process<br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><p>This is a contract position and does not include benefits.</p>
