## Join Midland Transport Limited as a Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver We are currently seeking professional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Drivers to join our team. This position can be based out of Concord, Cambridge, or Brampton, Ontario. As a Linehaul Driver, you'll run longhaul routes from Ontario, through the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, and across the Maritimes back through Ontario/Quebec, consistently following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards. **Schedule:** Your run starts on Saturday and takes approximately five days to complete. We offer flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. ### Compensation & Benefits - **Canadian miles:** $0.620 per mile. - **USA miles (paid in CAD):** $0.647 per mile. - Safety and fuel bonus paid quarterly. - Pick-ups, drops, and wait times are paid (restrictions apply). - Uniform allowance. - A flexible health, drug, dental, and vision plan. - RRSP matching program (5%). - Employee & Family Assistance Programs. - Health & Wellness reimbursements (includes gym memberships, fitness classes, or online workout programs). - 3 weeks' paid vacation. - Maternity leave top-up program. - Ongoing training and advancement possibilities. For full compensation details, please refer to our Full Rate Card. ### Qualifications - Education: High School diploma or GED required. - Valid Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor-trailer driving experience in North America. - Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check. - Eligibility to obtain a FAST card and cross the U.S. border. - Familiarity with satellite systems. - Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and reliability. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs. using proper equipment. - Safety-conscious mindset. ### Responsibilities - Running linehaul routes between the Maritimes, the United States eastern seaboard, and Ontario/Quebec. - Delivering freight to assigned locations while ensuring timely delivery. - Offloading variable shipment weights and handling freight equipment properly and safely to avoid damage. - Communicating efficiently with central dispatch and customers. - Operating the tractor-trailer in accordance with safety regulations, company rules, and traffic laws. - Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of truck operation. - Reporting any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damage in a timely manner. - Willingness to run linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey. ### About Midland Transport Limited Founded in 1882, J.D.
