University Course Tutor (Part-Time) | UofT Courses

UniAce Education is hiring part-time, full-time, and internship University Course Tutors to support students in University of Toronto courses.

We are looking for tutors who have a strong understanding of their subject area, can explain university-level concepts clearly and effectively, and are fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Please note: We only accept applicants who are currently enrolled at the University of Toronto or have graduated from the University of Toronto.

Courses We Are Hiring For

We are currently recruiting tutors for UofT courses including:

  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Statistics
  • Economics
  • Other high-demand university courses
Responsibilities
  • Teach university course content in small-group tutoring sessions
  • Explain difficult concepts and problem-solving methods clearly
  • Provide instruction and answer questions in both Mandarin Chinese and English when needed
  • Help students prepare for quizzes, midterms, and final exams
  • Review course materials and prepare lessons before each session
  • Identify areas where students need additional support
  • Maintain a professional and engaging learning environment
Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled at the University of Toronto or have graduated from the University of Toronto
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Strong academic performance in the UofT course(s) you wish to teach
  • Excellent understanding of the relevant subject
  • Strong communication and teaching skills
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred, but not required
Compensation $35–$90 CAD/hour, depending on experience, qualifications, course, and teaching responsibilities.

Schedule

Part-time, full-time, and internship opportunities are available. Scheduling is flexible and can be arranged around your UofT classes, exams, and other academic commitments.

Location

Toronto, Ontario. Depending on the course, teaching opportunities may be online or in person.
