Tutor, Reading Center
The Glenn Hubert Learning Center has openings for part-time temporary tutors to work in the Reading Center.<ul> <li>Reading Center tutors work with the undergraduate and graduate college level students and help them to enhance reading comprehension skills, vocabulary development, an reading fluency through individualized content-based tutoring sessions. </li> <li>Through tutor modeling, students learn a variety of effective reading strategies and study techniques.</li> <li>Reading Center tutors also administer, proctor, and score various placement tests.</li> <li>Reading Center tutors are responsible for collaborating with the Reading Center Coordinator in every aspect of the Reading Center's operations.</li></ul><ul> <li>Applicants must hold a degree in reading from an accredited institution, reading certification and/or reading endorsement.
