Temporary High School Teacher

The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for a 0.5 FTE temporary High School Options Teacher (Online/Teacher-Directed) with the possibility of home education and other classes based on the interests and background of the successful candidate at the NorthStar Academy, for Semester 1 running September 1st, 2026 to January 22, 2027.

NSA is an alternate status Grade 1-12 online and home education school, focusing on the growth of Christian faith in students and staff. Please provide a brief description of how your training and background has prepared you to teach your students in this Christian education context.

Only those applicants who are able to teach according to a philosophy of Christian education and in a manner consistent with the NSA statement of faith should apply. Details of the statement of faith can be found at .

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong 21 st century teaching skills including learning design that ensures high student engagement, critical thinking skills, inquiry, and the use of technology as a learning tool.
