Serving the Ottawa since 2016, Sand & Stain has been an industry leader in staining decks, fences, pergolas, and more. We are a locally owned business that operates in both the East & West end of Ottawa.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are currently looking for Wood Restoration Technicians to join our team for the 2024 season. If you love working outside and seeing the transformation of a project from start to finish, this is the position you are looking for. Most common job would be restoring decks and fences, small repairs and light carpentry, assembling pergolas, maintenance staining re-coats, as well as some shop work on rainy days. If you are a carpenter, flooring installer or hardwood floor refinisher, have design / build experience, or simply looking for a great new place to work, give us a call and see what we have to offer. There is no shortage of work for you in 2024! Our season typically runs from May 1 st to September 30 th .

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have access to a vehicle
  • Open to working flexible hours (30-60 hours / week)
  • Able to travel to either the east-end or west-end of Ottawa
  • Strong time management skills
  • Solid attention for detail
  • Reliable & Punctual
  • Ability to work alone and with a team
  • Good English communication skills
COMPENSATION:
Our staff are paid on a per project basis. Bonuses are available for number of hours produced and quality ratings.
