Sr. Onboarding Success Manager, Amazon Autos

Onboarding Success Manager

Are you passionate about helping businesses launch and grow on one of the world's most innovative platforms? Amazon Autos is revolutionizing the vehicle discovery and shopping experience, connecting customers with their ideal vehicle. As an Onboarding Specialist at Amazon Autos, you'll play a critical role in bringing new dealerships onto our marketplace — guiding them from contract signing through their first live transactions and setting them up for long-term success.

As an Onboarding Success Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for new dealer partners throughout the onboarding journey. You'll project manage dealers through each stage of the onboarding process — from implementation and setup to configuration — ensuring a seamless and efficient launch experience. You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams and directly with dealer personnel to resolve blockers, drive accountability, and continuously improve the onboarding experience at scale.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how automotive retailers enter the Amazon marketplace. If you thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment and are energized by building scalable processes and helping partners succeed, we encourage you to apply.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Dealer Onboarding Project Management: Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new dealerships, guiding them through each stage — including implementation, setup, configuration, integration, and launch — to ensure an efficient and successful launch.
  • Dealer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for dealers during the onboarding period, building trust and maintaining clear communication throughout the process. Escalate and resolve blockers quickly to keep onboarding timelines on track.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams including Business Development, Account Management, Seller Experience, Product, and Program Management to align on onboarding milestones and resolve issues at the root cause.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the onboarding process and develop scalable solutions, including updated SOPs, tooling improvements, and training materials. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that benefit the broader dealer base.
  • Data & Reporting: Track and report on onboarding KPIs — including time-to-launch, onboarding completion rates, and blocker trends — to surface insights and drive accountability across the team.

A day in the life:

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be based in our office and will occasionally travel onsite to meet with dealers across metro locations. You will work cross-functionally with internal partners across Seller Experience, Seller Operations, Product Management, and Program Management, and externally with dealer general managers and dealer group contacts. Your primary responsibilities will include: (1) project managing new dealers through the full onboarding lifecycle, (2) resolving onboarding blockers and escalating issues to the appropriate teams, and (3) identifying and implementing process improvements that accelerate time-to-launch and improve the dealer experience.

About the team:

We are a newly formed, rapidly growing team with a vision to create innovative discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We're collaborating with experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for vehicles. This role is part of the Amazon Ads org and is focused on vehicle sales.
