Sr. Account Executive, Video Ads Sales, Amazon Ads Canada

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Ads is seeking an Account Executive to join our rapidly-growing Video Ads Sales team. Amazon is committed to delivering best in class products, devices and services in the streaming space and this role will help connect brands with our ad solutions to delight customers and deliver results. Our Streaming TV advertising offer includes opportunities within premium content, providing unparalleled measurement and access to put your brand in front of new audiences. This role will be focused on driving video business and helping our customers meet their brand building objectives. This role will help our partners realize the full potential of Amazon by unlocking awareness-focused ad products where we capture the attention of our audiences for extended periods of time (Streaming TV, Fire TV, Twitch). Additionally, this role will sell Amazon's AdTech solutions, advanced measurement capabilities, and Live Sports advertising inventory, connecting brands with highly engaged audiences across every screen.

Key job responsibilities
Generates advertising revenue by consulting advertisers and agency partners on Streaming TV, AdTech, Measurement, and other brand-building advertising solutions.
Constructs and delivers compelling narratives — why reaching an audience that streams video is important to your business today and in the future.
Identifies opportunities to upscale advertisers' adoption of Amazon's AdTech and Measurement solutions, driving deeper investment across the portfolio.
Generates a pipeline and influences buying decisions to drive revenue from new and existing advertisers.
Establishes credible relationships with agencies and advertiser decision makers.
Maps account strategies, aligning resources and uncovering which of our video and AdTech products best serve an advertiser's needs.
Holds sales calls on existing and prospective clients, delivering superior customer service.
Prepares and delivers customized sales presentations to clients.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of digital media ad sales experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of selling programmatic or data driven ad products or platforms experience
  • Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • 8+ years of technology-related sales, marketing or business development experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives (where applicable). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well-being.
