Who We're Looking For:

An individual who is passionate about marketing and obsessed with the power of social media.

The Social Media Strategist is responsible for assisting in a range of social marketing initiatives within the organization. Their duties include, brainstorming and researching ideas for original content, supporting the creation of compelling content, creating social media posting schedules, writing captions for social media posts and engaging with content/community.

Social Media Strategist works with the digital media team to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue. The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the management of monthly social calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn)
  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
  • Perform social media marketing research
  • Respond to comments on social media platforms
  • Engage with mentions/tagged content and other industry relevant content
  • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
  • Support the creation of compelling graphics to share across social channels
  • Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
  • Help create and edit short-form videos
  • Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
  • Assist with photo/video content shoots
Skills & Qualifications · Media / Communications degree

· Relevant experience in digital marketing/social media marketing

· Impeccable oral and written communication skills

· Excellent internet/social research skills

· Strong understanding of the major social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and LinkedIn

· Understanding of social media video editing & editing tools like CapCut

· Knowledge of social media analytics software including Meta Insights and TikTok analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance

· Experience with content management systems, Microsoft applications and image/video editing software An ideal Social Media Strategist will have an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms. The candidate should be comfortable creating and managing multiple social media accounts, developing engaging content, educate and engage the brand’s audience to increase awareness and achieve marketing goals. An exceptional candidate will have strong knowledge of the major content management systems, social media trends and social media analytics.

Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
