Snowflake + SQL Developer

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake + SQL Developer with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience to join our team. As a Snowflake + SQL Developer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing data solutions on the Snowflake platform using SQL. The work mode for this role is hybrid, with two days of work from the office being mandatory. The position is available in multiple locations, including Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.

Responsibilities:

  1. Snowflake Development: Design, develop, and implement data solutions on the Snowflake platform using SQL.

  2. Data Modeling: Collaborate with data modelers and data architects to design efficient and scalable data models.

  3. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data quality and consistency.

  4. Performance Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for better performance and efficiency.

  5. Data Transformation: Implement data transformation and data processing logic using SQL.

  6. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data integration, data quality, and SQL queries.

  7. Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to Snowflake development and SQL queries.

  8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.

  9. Data Governance: Adhere to data governance and data security best practices in all data solutions.

Requirements:

  1. 6 to 8 years of experience in SQL development, with expertise in Snowflake SQL.

  2. Hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform, including data modeling and data loading.

  3. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing SQL performance.

  4. Understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.

  5. Knowledge of data integration and ETL concepts.

  6. Familiarity with cloud data platforms and data analytics tools will be a plus.

  7. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
