Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of short order dishes quickly and accurately to meet customer expectations
  • Serve customers at the counter with friendly, efficient service, taking orders and handling transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist in food handling, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the station well-equipped for service
  • Follow all food safety protocols and proper meal preparation procedures to guarantee quality and safety

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or food industry roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food safety practices
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
