Job Description

Roles Responsibilities

  • Develop eCommerce Websites on Shopify platform
  • Develop maintain and optimize Shopify stores backend infrastructure which has over 800 products
  • Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify
  • Integrate and maintain thirdparty apps APIs and services to enhance the stores functionality
  • Develop shopify hydrogen storefronts
  • Integrating third party platform supported apps Payment integration Shipping integration shopify settings integration in shopify platform Develop seamless connections with Shopify platform APIs Marketing Tools Shopify Apps
  • Transforming complex layout PSDs AIs into pixel perfect presentation layer HTML5CSS3 templates
  • Create responsive website designs
  • worked with version control systems such as GIT
  • Worked with shopify CLI
  • Understanding of W3C Web standardssemantics accessibility guidelines
  • Collaborate with the frontend development team to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
  • Write clean welldocumented and scalable code adhering to best practices and industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any backendrelated issues ensuring maximum uptime and performance
  • Continuously research and implement new technologies frameworks and best practices to improve the stores backend infrastructure
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including designers project managers and other developers to meet project milestones and deliverables
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
  • Expertise knowledge of JavaScript JavaScript Frameworks
This Role Requires
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science software engineering or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Shopify and ecommerce platforms
  • Expertise in shopify themes development Customization
  • Strong knowledge of shopify liquid programming
  • Expertise in serverside languages such as Ruby on Rails Python or Nodejs Either of the one is must
  • Indepth knowledge of Shopifys Liquid template language API and app ecosystem
  • Proficient in database management with experience using PostgreSQL or other relational databases
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problemsolving debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
  • Experience with frontend development technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript Familiarity with ecommerce platforms other than Shopify such as WooCommerce Magento or BigCommerce
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms other than Shopify such as WooCommerce Magento or BigCommerce
