Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Elementary School Teacher specializing in Mathematics to join a vibrant educational institution in Vaughan, Ontario . Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate mathematics lesson plans aligned with provincial curriculum standards. Assess student progress through various methods, including assignments, quizzes, and standardized tests, providing constructive feedback. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, including those requiring additional support or advanced challenges. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, develop cross-curricular projects, and contribute to school-wide educational initiatives. Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and student engagement. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behaviour, and progress. Requirements Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent qualification. Ontario Teacher Certification (OCT) in good standing. Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level, with a focus on mathematics. Proven ability to create differentiated lesson plans and assessment tools for mathematics. Excellent classroom management skills and a demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning.
