You will use your exceptional writing skills to create winning proposals that meet our clients' needs and showcase our expertise. You will work closely with various internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technical Experts, to gather the necessary information, develop proposal strategies, and ensure compliance with client requirements.<br><br><strong>Analysis<br><br></strong><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Analyze calls for offers, identify opportunities and challenges, and define client specifications and requirements.</li><li>Organize and lead the go/no-go process (decision to submit or not submit a proposal) in collaboration with the Sales team.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Proposal Writing And Development<br><br></strong><ul><li>Define the strategy for responding to calls for offers by analyzing client requirements and developing a winning approach.</li><li>Collaborate in creating a detailed project plan, including tasks, deadlines, and necessary resources.</li><li>Write and edit clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content, adapting the style and tone to the specific requirements of each client.</li><li>Conduct in-depth research on clients, projects, and industry trends to inform proposal content.</li><li>Translate complex technical information into accessible and engaging language for non-technical readers.</li><li>Ensure proposal consistency and make necessary adjustments.</li><li>Ensure that all proposals comply with company brand guidelines and quality standards.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Collaboration And Communication<br><br></strong><ul><li> Work closely with internal teams to understand client needs, develop proposal strategies, and gather the necessary information.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Continuous Improvements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Contribute to the continuous improvements of our proposal templates, processes, and tools.</li><li>Manage the proposal content database, ensuring it is up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible by Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.</li><li>Share best practices and lessons learned with the proposal team to continuously improve our processes.</li><li>Contribute to the improvement of AI tools.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Critical Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a related technical field, or 7 years of relevant experience in the field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably in a similar industry to ours.</li><li>Expertise in the Quebec government IT and Professional Services call for tenders market (processes, regulations, key players, issues) and the competitive context of professional services, with an understanding of Quebec public sector standards.</li><li>Proven experience in creating winning proposals that have generated new business in both the public and private sectors.</li><li>Proficiency in word processing and presentation software, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.</li><li>Ability to use online collaboration tools, such as Teams.</li><li>Experience using AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT for proposal analysis and writing (asset).<br><br></li></ul><strong>General Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changes and learn new skills.</li><li>In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada. </li><li>As part of the job, this person will be required to produce documents in French & English. <br><br></li></ul>Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.<br><br><strong>Additional Information<br><br></strong><strong>Position Type: </strong>Management<br><br><strong>Job Status: </strong>Regular - Full Time<br><br><strong>Job Location: </strong>Canada : Quebec : Montreal || Canada : Ontario : Ottawa || Canada : Quebec : Quebec City<br><br><strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Hybrid<br><br><strong>Application Deadline: </strong>08/17/2026<br><br>For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
