We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Finance Transformation team. As a Finance transformation professional, you will work with clients to provide insights into current finance transformation practices and how to strengthen them through process, people, technology and disruptive approaches. This job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization. Recognizing the changing and fast-paced professional landscape, you will team with engagement leadership to bring our broad range of capabilities and insights to enhance the effectiveness of the finance and operations function. You will be part of our Finance Transformation team and help clients by focusing on providing business advisory services that achieve measurable benefits in operational efficiency and strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to client engagements and internal projects.
  • Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
  • Identify potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements.
  • Anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the team.
  • Help create a positive learning culture, while providing coaching and counselling to other team members.
  • Participate in client engagements.
  • Contribute to market and business development.
  • Ensure the successful execution of project work.
  • Provide insights and ideas to assist in drafting high quality project work products.
  • Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge.
  • Display teamwork, integrity and leadership.
  • Use technology and tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members and enhance the delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Values, principles, and work ethic consistent with those outlined in the EY Global Code of Conduct.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to rapid-changing environments.
  • Professional designation and/or qualification i.e. MBA, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA.
  • Demonstrated experience in project-based engagements in any or the combination of the following areas: IT systems and operations, ERP implementations and architecture.
  • Understanding of operational models of the finance function.
  • Consulting experience is highly desired.
  • Background in operational finance and/or accounting functions is highly desired.
  • Background in finance transformation.
