The opportunity

We are looking to appoint an experienced and skilled individual to join our Data Management Department as a School Data Officer.

This is a remote-working position, open to applicants regardless of location, provided they can meet the role’s expectations in terms of reliability, communication, and secure data access.

About you

As a School Data Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of academic and student information across the school’s systems. You will manage data workflows, provide timely reports and analysis, and work closely with departments to support data-informed decisions.

This position suits a detail-oriented and technically competent professional with experience in data systems (ideally within a school or educational setting). Strong knowledge of Management Information Systems (such as iSAMS or SIMS), spreadsheet handling, reporting tools, and Google App Script is essential.

You must also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently while remaining connected to the wider team through online collaboration platforms. Previous remote work experience is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accurate student and academic records using the school's MIS.
  • Register applicants and current students for baseline testing.
  • Support with school assessments, data imports/exports, and audits.
  • Collaborate with staff across time zones and departments to support data needs.

We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English, therefore a high standard of written and spoken English is essential for all positions.

This is a remote, non-sponsored position with a fair remuneration package that reflects the role’s scope and responsibilities. While it does not include relocation or additional benefits, it offers:

Salary: competitive monthly remuneration on appointment
Work hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
