Retail Sales Advisor
<p>Under the supervision of the Showroom Manager, She / He is responsible for supporting the client in his process of choosing renovation materials including flooring, ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, bathroom supplies, installation products, advising them on the products that meet their needs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Welcome customers and provide a professional showroom experience. </li><li>Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products. </li><li>Assist customers with selecting porcelain tiles, SPC flooring, hardwood flooring, kitchen cabinets, bathroom products, and renovation materials. </li><li>Prepare quotations, sales orders, and invoices. </li><li>Follow up on quotations to convert them into sales. </li><li>Upsell and cross-sell complementary products and accessories. </li><li>Build long-term relationships with retail customers, contractors, designers, and builders. </li><li>Maintain strong knowledge of all products, pricing, promotions, and inventory. </li><li>Explain product features, benefits, installation methods, and maintenance requirements. </li><li>Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing. </li><li>Ensure product displays are properly stocked and labeled. </li><li>Update promotional signage and displays as required. </li><li>Process customer orders accurately using the company's POS/ERP system. </li><li>Coordinate with the warehouse regarding product availability and order preparation. </li><li>Schedule deliveries and customer pickups. </li><li>Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries. </li><li>Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. </li><li>Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation. </li><li>Process payments, deposits, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy. </li><li>Work closely with warehouse staff, managers, and other sales associates.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong customer service and sales abilities. </li><li>Basic computer proficiency (POS/ERP, Microsoft Office). </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. </li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills. </li><li>Ability to lift product samples (up to approximately 25 lbs) when required. </li><li>Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. </li><li>Previous retail sales experience in flooring, tiles, kitchen, bathroom, or building materials is considered a strong asset.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Attitudes expected of an employee: •</strong></p><ul><li>Treat customers, colleagues, and suppliers with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. </li><li>Neat and professional appearance. </li><li>Take initiative and be proactive in assisting customers and completing tasks. </li><li>Protect confidential company and customer information.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive salary. </li><li>Comprehensive group insurance program paid 100% by the employer. </li><li>Free parking and public transportation nearby. </li><li>Employee discounts.</li></ul>
