SUMMARY

Managing renewal business and endorsements by gathering information, quoting and negotiating with brokers on renewals with the support, guidance and mentorship of Underwriters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following

  • Collaborate with underwriters to support a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Execute underwriting support functions to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.
  • Review and assess renewal submissions to evaluate risk, determine premiums, coverage limits, and policy terms in alignment with underwriting standards and guidelines.
  • Collect and analyze policy information, securing underwriter approval as required within delegated authority.
  • Prepare, quote, and bind renewal terms and conditions in accordance with company underwriting standards.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with brokers and stakeholders to obtain renewal information and facilitate timely processing.
  • Apply retention strategies to maintain existing business and contribute to team performance goals.
  • Manage endorsement and cancellation requests, ensuring accurate premium calculations within individual underwriting authority.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to underwriting-related inquiries from brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATION Level 1 General Insurance License (or actively pursuing)- REQUIRED

Pay Range 47000 - 60000 AnnualActual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. Package may include base pay, commissions, and/or bonuses.
