REMOTE Senior Payroll Accountant (candidates are required to reside in Texas)
<p><strong>Now Hiring: Senior Payroll Accountant </strong></p><p>Schedule: Remote (Preference: DFW, TX)</p><p>Salary: $90K–$100K Base + up to 10% Bonus</p><p><br></p><p>A large, established organization is seeking a <strong>Senior Accountant with strong payroll experience</strong> to join its corporate accounting team. This role offers visibility to senior leadership and blends payroll accounting with general ledger responsibilities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead month-end close activities</li><li>Prepare payroll journal entries and reconciliations</li><li>Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis</li><li>Manage accruals and intercompany reconciliations</li><li>Support audits and ensure US GAAP compliance</li><li>Assist with process improvements and ad-hoc projects</li><li>Over time, primarily during month-end and year-end close cycles.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>3–5+ years of accounting experience</li><li>Strong payroll background (corporate payroll accounting experience required)</li><li>Experience in mid-to-large-sized organizations</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business (required)</li><li>Strong Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (UKG/Ultipro a plus)</li><li>CPA preferred</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re a Senior Accountant who enjoys owning payroll processes while contributing to broader financial reporting, let’s connect.
