Remote Sales Representative/Merchandiser - GTA East

We have the privilege of supporting and advising major clients on a daily basis. In order to support our growth, the agency is currently looking for a Merchandiser based in GTA East in Oshawa




Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, the Merchandiser will build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, driving brand performance and product sales. This role involves managing brand execution at the market level, ensuring distribution, pricing, and promotional strategies are met. You will deliver data-driven sales presentations and collaborate with the Field Sales Manager to achieve revenue and sales targets.

Compensation: $26/hour


Mandate duration: 14 weeks

Retention and/or performance bonuses – (TBD)


Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday – (TBD)




Responsibilities:





  • Carry out merchandising in points of sale, display areas, and floor placements according to established standards, in a way that is appealing to customers

  • Set up displays and execute planograms in convenience stores and large retail locations

  • Install point-of-sale (POS) materials to support promotions or product launches and create strong visual impact

  • Improve product visibility, shelf space, and accessibility

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, with regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Work in collaboration with the sales representative to support business opportunities

  • Complete weekly reports on execution activities

  • Visit 4 to 10 locations per day




Required qualifications:





  • Exclusive access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license (mandatory)

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, merchandising, or a retail environment (grocery experience is an asset)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High school diploma or equivalent (an asset)

  • Enjoy customer service and have strong communication skills

  • Excellent command of French
