Role Overview The Remote Prescription Data Entry Associate is a critical, detail‑oriented role that supports the operational backbone of our virtual‑reality pharmacy. Working part‑time and fully remotely, you will transcribe, process, and update patient and prescription information within our pharmacy management system. Your precision and adherence to HIPAA standards will ensure the integrity of patient records and the seamless delivery of our therapeutic devices. Key Responsibilities Accurately process inbound prescription referrals received via fax and input all required information into the brighthush digital pharmacy system. Review prescriptions and supporting documentation—including clinical notes, patient demographics, provider details, and insurance information—to verify completeness and legibility. Transcribe patient, prescription, provider, and insurance data from source documents into digital records with high accuracy. Identify and flag missing, incomplete, or unclear information for follow‑up by the appropriate internal team. Upload and attach prescriptions, clinical notes, demographic, and insurance documentation to patient records. Perform regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy, correct errors, and maintain well‑organized patient records. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company policies at all times. Collaborate with the Commercial Operations and Market Access Manager to resolve data discrepancies and support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with evolving regulatory requirements and system updates. Track and report key performance indicators such as data entry speed, error rates, and turnaround times to help optimize workflow. Contribute to process improvement projects by providing frontline insights on data entry challenges and opportunities. Essential Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum 1+ year of experience in a retail, mail‑order, hospital pharmacy setting, or comparable medical data entry role. Typing proficiency of at least 45–50 words per minute with high accuracy. Strong understanding of basic medical terminology, patient records, prescriptions, and insurance concepts. Experience navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems or proprietary pharmacy software (e.g., QS/1, EnterpriseRx, PioneerRx); familiarity with brighthush pharmacy software is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail to prevent data mismatches and ensure patient safety. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment. Strong written communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Preferred Qualifications Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) via PTCB or ExCPT, or Certified Durable Medical Equipment Specialist (CDME) via BOC.
