Remote HR Generalist - Talent & Development Focus

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and adaptable Remote HR Generalist with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Development to join their team. This fully remote role will be instrumental in supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on attracting, hiring, and nurturing talent. The successful candidate will manage recruitment processes, implement development programs, and contribute to building a strong employer brand. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber candidates. Design and facilitate employee development programs, including training, workshops, and career pathing initiatives. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning. Administer performance management processes and provide guidance on development plans. Support employee relations issues and ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws. Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures. Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate relevant HR reports. Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and retention. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries. Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with significant experience in talent acquisition and/or employee development. Proficiency in various recruitment techniques and ATS platforms. Strong understanding of Canadian employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in a remote environment. Experience with developing and delivering training programs is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CIPHR/CHRP designation or working towards it is an asset. Experience in a technology or fast-paced industry is preferred.
