Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Regional Manager, Strategic Customers, DS, located in Quebec or Remote.

  • Regional Key Account Management: Responsible for overall management of large Hospital Systems and Procurement customers for DS in Canada. Develop and maintain high level stakeholder relationships within Hospitals
  • Tender success: Build overarching tender strategies for the business unit to ensure successful outcomes from regional tender bids.
  • Commercial Transformations: Responsible for adoption of key internal commercial transformation initiatives in the region
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Responsible for implementing strategic initiatives in the region and maintaining local relationships with stakeholders (e.g. NHSF channel, robotics and AI)

Key Responsibilities
  • Key Account Management: strategic relationships at targeted hospitals and support Head of Sales and field force to attain revenue growth goals.
  • Tender strategies: ensure 100% success rate on bid strategies. Proactively plan Orthopedics bid strategies and maintain funnel of prospects.
  • Effectively drive growth from regional opportunities, like NHSF (ASC)
  • Build stakeholder relationships outside hospitals, including but not limited to policy, payers, and industry associations to enable funding pathways for innovations
  • Lead Commercial Transformation initiatives (CXM, for example) & coordinate with global leaders for resources and guidance.
  • Support Sales initiatives within region
  • Provide input for annual business plans
  • Support Sales Enablement teams on processes for commercial approvals

Qualifications

Education:

  • University Bachelor’s degree
Experience and Skills:

Required

  • 6-8 years of Sales Leadership &/or Key Account Management

  • Industry knowledge

  • Canadian Procurement knowledge
  • People Management (at least 5 years)
  • Building cross-sector Partnerships
  • Engaging High-level stakeholders
  • French and English bilingualism to support customers in both languages

Preferred
  • Preferred Minimum Education Other: MBA
  • Preferred Area of Study: Science &/or Business Management
  • Preferred Related Industry Experience: MedTech, Pharma, SaaS within life-sciences or Biotech
