QA Engineer – AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

<p>Job Summary</p><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>QA Engineer</strong> with strong hands-on experience in <strong>AML (Anti-Money Laundering) testing</strong> and a background in <strong>Payments, Banking, or FinTech</strong>. The ideal candidate will have experience testing financial applications, transaction monitoring systems, AML workflows, and regulatory/compliance-related functionality.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Design, develop, and execute <strong>test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts</strong> for AML and financial applications.</li><li>Perform <strong>functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing</strong>.</li><li>Validate AML transaction monitoring, customer screening, alert generation, case management, and investigation workflows.</li><li>Test <strong>AML rules, scenarios, thresholds, alerts, and transaction-monitoring workflows</strong>.</li><li>Validate data flow across upstream and downstream systems and ensure transaction data is accurately processed.</li><li>Perform <strong>API testing</strong> and database validation using SQL.</li><li>Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios covering positive, negative, and edge cases.</li><li>Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.</li><li>Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Compliance/AML teams, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Support UAT, production validation, and release activities.</li><li>Ensure testing aligns with applicable financial-services and compliance requirements.</li></ul><p>Required Skills</p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in <strong>Software Quality Assurance / Testing</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>AML / Anti-Money Laundering testing</strong>.</li><li>Experience working with at least one of the following domains:</li><li><strong>Payments</strong></li><li><strong>Banking</strong></li><li><strong>FinTech</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>AML transaction monitoring and compliance workflows</strong>.</li><li>Experience testing financial transactions, payment processing, or banking applications.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>STLC, test planning, test execution, defect management, and QA processes</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>API testing</strong> using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.</li><li>Strong <strong>SQL/database testing</strong> skills.</li><li>Experience with Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar defect/test management tools.</li><li>Good understanding of <strong>Agile/Scrum methodologies</strong>.</li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p>
