DESCRIPTIONCanada Transportation is looking for a Program Manager to join the Middle Mile and Cross Border execution team. This team is responsible for overseeing aspects including DEA, Speed, OB Trans Network Design, Capacity Planning for Sort Centers and Amazon Air, and managing overall Trans Outbound Costs. - PM has to handle volume related escalations, managing variations in volume compared to planned figures, overseeing Linehaul, and managing VAA operations- Monitoring, sharing & bridging performance metrics (DEA, volume share analysis, capacity available vs plan) on a daily / weekly basis- Coordinating with FC, ACES, Network Design and TESS teams for any changes in network design/connectivity and maintaining a seamless flow of information and coordination among these teams to optimize network performance. These changes include: CPT/lane changes and configuration - Providing recommendation, initiating and coordinating changes by submitting approvals to FC, Network Design, VAA, Speed, TORCH configuration requests, OB scheduling requests, etc. This involves driving alignment and recommending alternate solves if the proposed solution is declined across teams. These network changes can be initiated by carrier managers / other upstream/downstream partner teams.- Identifying and driving initiatives to improve capacity, cost to serve, speed and connectivity- Creating and successfully executing working backwards plan for events by collaborating with cross functional teamsKey job responsibilities- Manage Day to Day execution, ensuring successful delivery. Requires driving network optimization, executing configuration changes in partnership with Tess and organizing scheduling by raising tickets.- Use analytics, dashboards, Queries to deep dive and improve network share, volume attainment, DEA and other performance metrics. Partner with right teams to operationalize these projects.- Partner with STP/MTP/LTP teams in potential expansions, launches, Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.- Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.- Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to successfully plan and deliver for HVEs - Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with impact and urgency - Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.- Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business Ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.- Manage and communicate project status effectively and timely. - Create working backwards plan for HVEs and adhere to quality output and timelines adherence.- Provide right inputs for planning exercise and for planning documentsA day in the life- Review business metrics and deep dive anomalies- Coordinate with stakeholders on network design changes to be completed- Submit and track configuration changes- Identify process improvement opportunitiesAbout the teamOur team manages the Middle Mile (MM) for Canada's domestic and Cross-border transportation programs. We work with stakeholders in planning, network design, fulfillment centers (FCs), sort centers (SCs), last mile (LM), Amazon Air, and linehaul (LH), to plan and execute MM strategies. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of program or project management experience- Experience in program or project managementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology- Experience in data mining- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)- Experience with SQLAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
