Position Overview

Are you a seasoned software developer who is passionate about building and scaling cloud services for world-class design and construction solutions? Do you have the skills and experience to design and implement reliable and trusted SaaS products that can handle large user base and complex data flow? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Docs team in Autodesk AEC Construction R&D is seeking a talented and highly motivated principal developer to join its development team, to build cloud services and products for its global customers in the construction industry. You will be part of a dynamic software development team, collaborating with global teams to deliver high quality cloud services that help customers transform to a cloud-powered Autodesk experience.

Responsibilities

  • Be a technical leader in full life cycle of software development 

  • Contribute to the architecture evolution and platform development for Forma Data Management cloud services, working with various industry software experts and stakeholders

  • Be hands-on in the implementation and operation of cloud services, using web-based technologies and best practices

  • Solve challenging technical problems and provide innovative solutions for SaaS products that integrate with Autodesk's well-known tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.

  • Role model in high code quality, organization, and automation Mentor and coach other developers and share your deep knowledge and expertise

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in SaaS or cloud-based products with proven track record of delivering results

  • Strong design and coding skills, with emphasis on quality, performance, and maintainability

  • Proficiency in web-based technologies, such as Java, Go, GraphQL, etc.

  • Has solid understanding of the product development lifecycle.- Experience in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud services using AWS, or other cloud platforms

  • Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud operations at an enterprise level

  • Experience with distributed database technologies

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with ability to debug complex issues

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a global and diverse team as a technical leader and diplomat

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in big data analytics

  • Solid experience on building and maintaining event driven framework is a plus.

  • Familiarity with BPMN or RPA tools like, Camunda, Power Automate or AWS step function

  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work on complex systems.

  • Familiar with Linux/CentOS

L’équipe Docs du département R&D AEC Construction d’Autodesk recherche un développeur principal talentueux et très motivé pour rejoindre son équipe de développement, afin de créer des services et des produits cloud destinés à ses clients internationaux du secteur de la construction. Vous ferez partie d’une équipe de développement logiciel dynamique et collaborerez avec des équipes internationales pour fournir des services cloud de haute qualité qui aideront les clients à passer à une expérience Autodesk basée sur le cloud.

Responsabilités

  • Jouer un rôle de leader technique tout au long du cycle de vie du développement logiciel

  • Contribuer à l’évolution de l’architecture et au développement de la plateforme pour les services cloud Forma Data Management, en collaboration avec divers experts logiciels du secteur et parties prenantes

  • Participer activement à la mise en œuvre et à l’exploitation des services cloud, en utilisant des technologies web et les meilleures pratiques

  • Résoudre des problèmes techniques complexes et proposer des solutions innovantes pour des produits SaaS s’intégrant aux outils bien connus d’Autodesk tels qu’AutoCAD, Revit, etc.

  • Être un modèle en matière de qualité du code, d’organisation et d’automatisation. Encadrer et accompagner d’autres développeurs, et partager vos connaissances approfondies et votre expertise

Qualifications Minimales

  • Au moins 8 ans d’expérience en développement logiciel, de préférence dans le domaine des produits SaaS ou basés sur le cloud, avec une expérience avérée en matière d’obtention de résultats

  • Solides compétences en conception et en codage, en mettant l’accent sur la qualité, les performances et la maintenabilité

  • Maîtrise des technologies web, telles que Java, Go, GraphQL, etc.

  • Possède une solide compréhension du cycle de vie du développement de produit. - Expérience dans la conception et le développement de services cloud évolutifs, fiables et sécurisés utilisant AWS ou d’autres plateformes cloud

  • Expérience en DevOps, CI/CD et opérations cloud au niveau de l’entreprise

  • Expérience avec les technologies de bases de données distribuées

  • Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes et en dépannage, avec la capacité à déboguer des problèmes complexes

  • Solides compétences en communication et en collaboration, avec la capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d’une équipe internationale et diversifiée en tant que leader technique et médiateur

  • Licence ou diplôme supérieur en informatique, ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe

Qualifications Souhaitées

  • Expérience en analyse de mégadonnées

  • Une solide expérience dans la mise en place et la maintenance de frameworks orientés événements est un atout.

  • Connaissance des outils BPMN ou RPA tels que Camunda, Power Automate ou AWS Step Function

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $131,000 and $191,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
