Plumber Helper / Plumbing Apprentice

Overview

We are seeking a motivated, hard-working Plumber Helper to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will work directly alongside licensed Journeyperson Plumbers to assist with residential and commercial service, repairs, and installations. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on trade experience, learn plumbing codes, and build a career path toward becoming a licensed plumber.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Lead Plumbers: Support licensed plumbers with installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, valves, and fixtures.
  • Job Site Prep: Set up tools, carry heavy materials, and prep work areas for installations.
  • Material Management: Cut, bend, thread, and pre-assemble pipes and water system components.
  • Site Cleanliness: Clean up debris, wipe down work areas, and maintain a safe, organized job site.
  • Inventory Control: Load and unload service vans, organize equipment, and monitor supply levels.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, and safely operate basic hand and power tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of professional plumbing experience.
  • Driver's License: Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Availability: Open to a rotating on-call schedule for emergency services.
