Your Role: The Partner Account Manager is responsible for driving growth across a portfolio of strategic Named Accounts within the Dell Technologies Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) business, with a primary focus on Storage solutions. This senior sales professional will work closely with Dell Technologies, reseller partners, and internal Ingram Micro teams to identify, develop, and close opportunities across Dell's data center portfolio, including Storage, Servers, Networking, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Data Protection, and AI-ready infrastructure solutions.

Success in this role requires strong channel sales experience, deep data center technology knowledge, and the ability to develop executive-level relationships that drive long-term partner growth and market share expansion. The ideal candidate combines technical business acumen with a consultative sales approach and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities: Named Account Management:

  • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic reseller partners and named accounts.
  • Create and execute account growth plans focused on Dell ISG revenue expansion.
  • Drive partner engagement across the full Dell infrastructure portfolio with a particular emphasis on Storage solutions.
Storage & Data Center Growth:
  • Lead initiatives to accelerate Dell Storage adoption, including PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerProtect, and associated data center solutions.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across Server, Storage, Networking, and Data Protection portfolios.
  • Develop pipeline and execute strategies that increase market share and partner wallet share.
Partner & Vendor Relationship Management:
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with partner sales, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Dell field sales teams, channel account managers, and Ingram Micro specialists to drive joint business outcomes.
  • Facilitate business planning sessions and quarterly reviews with strategic partners.
Opportunity Development & Solution Selling:
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities through proactive account engagement and market analysis.
  • Position complete data center solutions rather than individual products.
  • Support partners throughout the sales cycle, including opportunity identification, quoting, deal registration, vendor engagement, and closing activities.
What you bring to the role:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, IT (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
  • Minimum 5-8+ years of channel sales, account management, business development, or technology distribution experience.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data center technologies, including Storage, Servers, Networking, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Data Protection / Backup, Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and developing growth plans.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
Preferred
  • Experience working with Dell Technologies or a major infrastructure vendor.
  • Experience within IT distribution, VAR, reseller, or channel ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of Dell ISG solutions including PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerProtect, and PowerEdge.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and French.

The typical salary range for this role across Canada is $105,000 -125,000 TC (CAD) per year. The range above reflects the potential annual starting base pay and includes commission across all of Canada for all roles. Individual base pay and commission within each range depends on various factors, including work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
