Part-Time Warehouse Labourer (Temporary)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Warehouse Labourer to assist with pallet preparation and general warehouse duties. This is a temporary position ideal for someone who is physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment with used automotive batteries.

Temporary Assignment Details

This position is temporary and is expected to last approximately one to one and a half weeks. You will be paid for all hours worked. During that time, you will be expected to work approximately 7 to 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, depending on the workload and operational requirements.

ResponsibilitiesPallet Preparation

  • Prepare pallets containing used automotive batteries
  • Wrap and strap pallets securely for transport
  • Ensure pallets meet packing standards and applicable regulations
  • Perform heavy lifting as part of the pallet preparation process

Loading & Unloading Support

  • Assist with lifting and moving used automotive batteries
  • Support loading and unloading activities as required
  • Work with team members to ensure safe handling and proper placement of materials
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Warehouse Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Sweep and clean warehouse floors
  • Assist with power washing and general cleaning duties
  • Help keep work areas safe and free of hazards

Requirements

  • Ability to safely lift and carry 40-60 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to safety procedures
  • Ability to perform physical labour throughout the workday
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset but not required

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
