Part-Time Nanny Needed for 19-Month-Old Boy – Regent Park We are a warm and caring family seeking an experienced, reliable, and engaging Part-Time Nanny to care for our 19-month-old son. The ideal candidate will be punctual, energetic, safety-conscious, and dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment. We are located in Regent Park and are looking for someone who can become a trusted part of our family's routine. Schedule Regular schedule: 3 mornings per week Hours: Approximately 6:30/7:00 AM to 8:00/8:30 AM (6 hours per week) Long-term commitment preferred Occasional evening availability on Friday or Saturday (7:00 PM – 10:30 PM) approximately 1–2 times per month is an asset Primary Responsibilities (Morning Shifts) Provide attentive, safe, and engaging care for our 19-month-old son Assist with morning routines, including diaper changes, dressing, and preparing him for the day Prepare and serve a healthy breakfast and clean up afterward Engage in age-appropriate activities such as reading, singing, and interactive play Walk our son to his daycare (approximately a 5-minute walk from our home) and ensure a safe handover to staff Follow established household routines and parenting preferences Light meal preparation related to the child Qualifications Previous experience caring for toddlers is required CPR and First Aid certification is an asset Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma/certification or related childcare training is an asset Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning starts Strong communication skills and a warm, caring approach References & Screening Minimum of 1 recent family references required Vulnerable Sector/Police Check is an asset Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and references Trial Period Three paid trial shifts are required before confirming a long-term arrangement If interested, please send: A brief introduction about yourself Relevant childcare experience Certifications and qualifications Availability References We look forward to hearing from candidates who are passionate about working with young children and becoming a valued part of our family's support system.
