We are a growing online education organization that offers engaging live classes for children and teens. Our classes focus on gaming, STEM, coding, creativity, teamwork, and building confidence through fun, interactive learning experiences.

We currently offer a variety of gaming and technology classes and are continuing to expand our catalog with exciting new topics.

Position Overview

We're looking for an enthusiastic Online Gaming Instructor who enjoys working with children and has experience across a variety of popular games.

Our ideal instructor is passionate about gaming, enjoys creating engaging experiences for young learners, and can foster a welcoming, positive classroom environment where learners can socialize, collaborate, and have fun.

This is a remote independent contractor position. You'll teach live online classes using curriculum developed by our organization while bringing your own teaching style, personality, and enthusiasm to each class.

Evening and weekend availability is highly preferred, as many of our classes take place during these times.

This position begins with an initial 6-month independent contractor agreement. There is the opportunity to renew the contract based on mutual interest, performance, and the needs of the organization.

What You'll Teach

Depending on your experience, you may teach classes such as:

  • Roblox gaming clubs
  • Minecraft clubs and challenges
  • Steam multiplayer games
  • Cooperative survival games
  • Strategy and puzzle games
  • Social gaming clubs
  • Team-based challenges
  • Additional gaming classes based on your interests and expertise

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging live online gaming classes for learners approximately ages 7–16.
  • Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encourage teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, and positive social interactions.
  • Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes.
  • Communicate professionally regarding scheduling and class updates.
  • Help learners build friendships while having fun through gaming.
Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience playing a wide variety of games across multiple genres.
  • Is comfortable learning and teaching new games.
  • Enjoys working with children.
  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Is reliable, organized, and professional.
  • Has access to a reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, microphone, and appropriate gaming hardware.
Teaching experience is an asset but not required. We welcome applicants with strong gaming experience who are passionate about creating engaging experiences for children.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is an asset:

  • Roblox
  • Minecraft
  • Steam games
  • Cooperative multiplayer games
  • Strategy games
  • Survival games
  • Sandbox games
  • Online community moderation
  • Streaming or content creation
  • Youth leadership, coaching, tutoring, or teaching
