We are excited to welcome newly licensed Registered Nurses to join our high‑performing Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at reputed company, part of reputed company’s nationally recognized Level I Trauma program. About the Unit

Our 31‑bed Multisystem PCU cares for a diverse patient population, including cardiac, respiratory, neuro, renal, GI, trauma, and post‑operative patients. As a new graduate, you will gain exposure to a wide range of acute conditions while working alongside experienced clinicians dedicated to your growth.

In this role, the nurse administers patient care in an inpatient acute‑care setting where patients receive active treatment for injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post‑intervention needs, supported by ongoing assessment. The nurse is responsible for monitoring patient status, contributing to individualized plans of care, providing medications and treatments as directed, documenting care accurately, communicating with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting patients and families while developing strong clinical judgment as a new graduate.

This position is intended for licensed registered nurses with less than one year of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administers bedside patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting under the supervision of a preceptor, leader, and/or charge nurse.
• Assesses patients’ needs and develops/revises individualized plans of care based on their needs and responses.

• Evaluates patients’ progress toward attaining expected outcomes.
• Respects diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
• Functions as an advocate for patients and their families.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned
unit/department.
• Serves as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/ or nurse clinician.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and the interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage the unit/department.
• Serves as a role model forstaff and supportsthe hospital and nursing department’s goals and strategies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, assesses data reflective of the patient’s status, and interprets the necessary information to identify each patient’srequirementsrelative to their age- specific needs.
• Coordinates patient care for a defined group and delegates tasks appropriately to team members.
• Documents patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner, meeting all required and regulatory standards. This includes, but is not limited to, patient assessment, education, medication administration, treatments, and patientsafety.
• Demonstrates competency in nursing skills and the use of patient care/unit equipment as defined by unit/department-specific requisite skills.
• Prioritizes patient care in an ongoing manner in accordance with Evidence-Based Practice Standards of Care.
• Practices effective problem identification and resolution.
• Delegatestasks and dutiesto healthcare team membersin accordance with the patient’s needs and the team member’s capabilities and qualifications.
