This role targets engineers with experience in thermal-hydraulics analysis at CSMC, focusing on developing and validating models for heat transfer and fluid flow. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to communicate findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thermal-hydraulic analyses for advanced reactor systems
• Develop models with codes such as RELAP5 and OpenFOAM
• Analyze heat transfer and flow distribution phenomena
• Support safety assessments with coupled simulations
• Evaluate coolant design and decay heat removal capabilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or higher in Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years in thermal-hydraulics analysis
• Proficient in RELAP5, TRACE, or similar
• Strong heat transfer and flow understanding
• Familiar with Python or MATLAB for data automation
