Node.js Developer

You will design and write code supporting serverless frameworks using Node.js.

Responsibilities

  • Transform complex business requirements into technical design specifications.
  • Design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance.
  • Write complex queries for relational databases including Oracle and MySQL.
  • Provision AWS resources including EC2, VPC, and Auto Scaling for application availability.
  • Manage deployments using source control and CI/CD tools like GitLab and Jenkins.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and serverless framework design.
  • Strong experience with Java programming, web services, and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Extensive knowledge of CloudFormation and Terraform scripting.
  • Experience with AWS services: SDK, CLI, VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, ELB, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
  • Ability to work with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch and DynamoDB.
  • Experience migrating Java or Mainframe applications to AWS.
  • Proficiency with Docker (Engine, Hub, Machine, Compose, and Registry).
  • Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux, Unix, or Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with relational databases including Oracle and MySQL.
  • Competency in Git, GitLab, or Team Foundation Server.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a global delivery environment.
